NuclearHazard Fission Kit

This is the kit version of the NuclearHazard Fission. You will receive the main PCB and hardware, but must provide the Raspberry Pi, print the case, install the software, and assemble it yourself.

Features:

• Up to 8 RXs for timing up to 8 simultaneous pilots
• Cooling fan
• 2-5S Battery/DC or 48V PoE input
• RGB LED strip output

Included:

• Fission PCB with all components pre-installed (except the receivers)
• Heat-set inserts for case
• 8x M3 screws for fan and case
• 4x Standoffs and 8x standoff screws for mounting the Pi
• Cooling fan

Not included, but needed for a complete timer:

• 1-8 RX5808 modules (must buy separately and solder onto PCB)
• SD Card
• Raspberry Pi
• 3D printed case (files linked in instructions)

Note: With a Pi 5, the timer can not control the LED strip with the built-in LED connector, nor can it connect to an ELRS backpack through the built-in footprint. Both functions are still possible with additional hardware.
